New driver coaching session
Foundational training for a new driver who will be operating a company vehicle for the first time, or who is transitioning to a new type of vehicle. The new driver coaching session includes optional classroom, behind-the-wheel coaching session, and driver assessment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Vehicle pre-trip inspection and procedures
Vehicle and equipment use policies and regulations
Seating position, mirror adjustments, and basic vehicle control procedures
Risk management – The ability to identify, avoid, and remediate on the road threats
Spatial management – Recognizing the limitations of the vehicle
Understanding how to best maneuver in any roadway condition
Instilling a safe driving culture throughout the organization
